Service Engagement
Quotations
Quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Quotations are based on information you provide and assume standard processing requirements. If circumstances differ from those described, we may need to revise the quotation.
Acceptance and Contracts
A binding contract forms when you accept our quotation and we confirm acceptance of your engagement. Contracts may be formed via email confirmation or other written communication. We reserve the right to decline service engagements at our discretion.
Information Provision
You must provide complete and accurate information about yourself and the vehicle you wish to register. Incomplete or inaccurate information may delay processing or result in application rejection. We are not liable for consequences arising from incorrect information you provide.
Client Responsibilities
You remain responsible for ensuring you have legal authority to register the vehicle in question. You must hold valid proof of ownership and provide all requested documentation in a timely manner. Failure to provide necessary documents may prevent us from completing services.
Fees and Payment
Service Fees
Our fees cover professional services only. They do not include government charges, DVLA fees, vehicle tax, testing fees, or other third-party costs. All such additional costs will be clearly identified in your quotation.
Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 14 days of invoice date. For services exceeding £400, we may offer split payment with 50% due upon commencement and the remainder upon completion.
Late Payment
We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at the rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate per annum. Late payment may result in suspension of services until payment is received.
Refunds
If we are unable to complete services due to our own error or inability to perform, we will refund fees paid for uncompleted work. Refunds are not provided if we cannot proceed due to ineligibility of the vehicle, incorrect information provided by you, or your failure to provide required documentation.
If you choose to cancel services after work has commenced, we retain fees for work already performed and may charge cancellation fees for work already committed to third parties.
Service Delivery and Timelines
Estimated Timelines
Timeline estimates are provided in good faith based on typical DVLA processing times and standard circumstances. They are estimates, not guarantees. Actual completion times may vary depending on DVLA workload, complexity of your case, and other factors beyond our control.
Delays
We are not liable for delays caused by the DVLA, third-party service providers, postal services, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will inform you promptly if we become aware of significant delays.
Service Completion
Services are considered complete when registration has been successfully processed by the DVLA and confirmed to you in writing. Completion may require your cooperation in receiving final documents or confirming details.
Limitations of Service
Regulatory Scope
We provide administrative and consultancy services. We do not guarantee DVLA approval of any application, as final decisions rest with the relevant authorities. While our expertise significantly increases success rates, some applications may be rejected due to regulatory requirements.
Legal Advice
We are not solicitors and do not provide legal advice. If your situation requires legal expertise, such as disputes over vehicle ownership or complex compliance issues, we recommend consulting a qualified legal professional.
Vehicle Assessment
We do not inspect vehicles or verify their mechanical condition. Our services concern documentation and regulatory compliance only. You should arrange independent mechanical inspections when purchasing vehicles.

You may terminate a service engagement according to the cancellation terms specified in your service agreement. Termination does not affect payment obligations for services already rendered.
General Provisions
Entire Agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and argent-glint regarding your use of our website and services.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary while the remainder of the terms remain in full force.
Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision. Any waiver must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to any party, particularly in connection with business reorganisation or sale.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, labour disputes, or telecommunications failures.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and may notify users via email or website notice.
